Smallville anyone?

I was doodling around while watching an episode of Smalliville and drew up this character from the show. If you watch the show you'll probably recognize him right away.

Don't Be a Sluggard

Another illustration forThesondays.com. I used this illustration before for a message about the struggle of a butterfly, and how it's through struggle and hard times that we grow and are transformed. It was my first message. Since then I began adding scripture verses to the illustrations. Actually, in most cases it'll be a verse of scripture that inspires me first and then the illustration comes from it. So in this case I felt there needed to be a verse to go with the illustration and this verse from proverbs came to mind. Reading it now, it seems perfect for this illustration and message too.

In Memory of..

One of my best friends died this weekend. He was a great and loyal friend to me for more than 12 years. When I moved away to school, I left my mom home alone, but I never worried about her because I knew she was safe and well protected.
Anyway, this was a drawing I did of his paws while he was sleeping. I felt like remembering him and remembered that this image is not posted anywhere else and felt it should be.

Thanks for being such a great friend! I'll miss you
