DAVID VS GOLIATH (FINISHED)

As I mentioned earlier this story of David and Goliath is one of my favorites. Since the story and illustration mean so much to me I just wasn't satisfied with my earlier version. After some playing with color and other ideas this is the newest version.

Did you repaint it or just adjust the colors? Either way, it definitely looks better. I kind of liked how he had the lamb next to him before. But this is a much nicer crop; Goliath feels bigger and David is framed really nicely now. And his eyes are more focused on his goal now (I'd say add a little hi-lite to them to emphasize where he's looking).

Haha, it kind of looks like one of those motivational posters you see in offices... "Together Everyone Accomplishes More." Hahah. Nicely done, brother.

Hey thanks for the crits.
I didn't repaint it just adjusted the colors on Goliath, I wanted him to feel cooler and David warm. I switched the color from that warmish brown for his shadows to this blue. I really like the way that palette is working and how it makes the contrast between the two characters really stand out.

I took out the sheep but I added something else, did you notice it?
